Dear Everyone,

The Alberta Table Tennis Association (ATTA) recently hosted the first of two Team Alberta selection tryouts at the Calgary United Sports Table Tennis Club (CUSTTA) for the 2026 Canadian Championships in Manitoba. This event took place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, and we are thrilled to report an incredible turnout of 50 talented young athletes from Alberta, aged 9 to 18, competing for a spot on Team Alberta in the U13, U15, and U19 Boys' and Girls' categories.

These tryouts provide more than just an opportunity to showcase athletic skills; they also serve as a platform to demonstrate essential values such as teamwork, respect, sportsmanship, and resilience. These qualities are crucial for athletes representing our province as they strive for national success.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated coaching team and the selection committee for creating a fair and supportive environment for all participants. To the parents and supporters, your unwavering encouragement is vital in helping these young athletes reach their full potential.

Lastly, we would like to express our gratitude to CUSTTA for providing outstanding facilities, enabling us to conduct this event smoothly and efficiently.

Let’s come together to support our future champions!

Best regards,

Kim Law
